a little before dark & staid all
night nothing more to day

started from onion valley this m
orning after breakfast for the p
oint & got there about noon we
took dinner with oharwin & he
went with us home we got home
after dark a little no more

bill & I hauled a load of hay
from wheelers to Judkins mill
& some timber back turned
warm after supper & rained in
the night some no more today

nothing of particular interest
to day I believe rained to day &
very heavy done nothing to day

will & I hauled a load of hay from
Whellers to Elizabeth town it
snowed in the evening some

every body prepairing for the ball
at Spanish Ranch our wagon
to take down opposite [illegible: Jeubra] h
ouse inthe branch & we had to un
load our hay nothing else today

24th
Christmas day our folks went
to the ball at Spanish Ranch
with Sherwin & waits bill pa
& I staid at home pretty cold
at night we built a fire in the
root house to keep from freez
ing the potatoes no more

25th
said about town all day pretty
cold our folks got home after
noon a while waits & [smear]
came up after supper & staid
awhile madden came by with
his sleigh & took Lizzie a rid
ing after supper
