Tu 1             Still clowdy. Bill halling
rails. I continued up all day.
Late p.m. raind & snowd con
siderable after dark.

We 2            Cleard off. I am still getting
better went up town. Bill halling
rails & halld one load sloos box
es for Dickinson & co. to niger ravine.

Th 3            Still clear. Bill went up
to Ill. Ranch got Frank Go
ble to come & help us to plough.
Bill halld rails the rest of the day.

Fr 4              Clowdy this morning & raind
come. Bill & Frank was plow
ing all day. I am still impro
veing. John came over this
A.M. & retund this P.M. to
the diggins. Not done well this week.

Sat 5           Foggy this A.M. Bill & Frank
broke the handle of the plough
mended by noon ploughing p.m.

Sat 5           I was raking the trash off
the ground for a gardin & bu
rning it. Dave came over this
p.m. I got him to set a log heap
a fire, Rains set fire to the ded
grass where we want to plough
& the fence caught fire & burnd
up some of the rails about dark.

Su 6             Clowdy & raind to day some.
John came over to day & bro
ught 500$ he borrowd of John
Ritchy at 3 per cent per mont
$ 61 1/4$ taken out last week of
the diggins. I had to drive out
a lot of stock & put up the fence.

Mo 7           John & Dave prepard
early to go over to the diggins.
Dave gave me 28$ of the mon
ey took out of the diggins the
week before last. Bill got 619 lb
wheat of Judkins & Co & 228 lbs
screaning at 5 cts per lb.
