Rains still on a bust court spend

We 6            Henry.. John, wife Kath
& mrs. Lindley all went on
horse back to Nelson creek to
see the mines.. Came back
before dark,, I sent my wheat
to mill this a.m. after
we were halling in our oats
& wheat straw..

Th 7            we finishd by noon our
hay straw.. I collected 5$ of
Brewster for ranching mules
& pd Garland 5 1/2$ fer barly & help
got 1 1/2of H.P… I was watering
potatoes & cabbage a while
p.m. halld 3 loads of frost bit
wheat for willmans & am to
hall the rest as soon as we can
all gone to a dance at Betsy
town but Lindley & his wife & I
Dave & John is gone two
Smith has worked 3 days —

Fr 8              finished halling Willmans
wheat this p.m. at 25$ the load

Sat 9           halld in Jennings wheat at
30$ stacked in the lot near the barn..
Dave & John came over
on yesterday as witnesses in
the case I have in court.

Su 10          H.P. & Family Mrs, Lindley
& 3 children.. Mrs Buchan
non child & servt all started
for M. ville.. Rains with 2
yoke of oxen to pull the
stage up the hill near eagle gulch
Dave went along to help

Mo 11         in due time the Rush &
Terwillegar suit for the wa
ter was calld & was nearly all
day getting through with
the plaintiffs witnesses. Smi
th worked 5 days moore last
week.. & hickman is done
work on saturday last

Tu 12          we closed our evidence
& offered a plea in bar of a
former trial & case was
