one foot deep here after setting.
The boys has not been able to do

Su 16 Rains & Shults did not
come home Last kt, but Shults
came early this morning and
says bill is Drunk. I read

I, Dave & John set to work and
made four pair of sno shoes out of
hoops & flour sacks, in ten
ding to go after wife & Lizzy as
soon as the weather is favourable.
Mo 17 Clowdy & misty all day we were
fixing up our snow shoes. Af
ter noon I, John & Dave went up
the ditch to see after the water, it
is making its way down 1/2 mile
from the reservoy. Our snow shoes
is verry imperfect from trial made.
Tu 18 Up befor light two hours & bre
ckfast over waiting for day. Clow
dy, John started for Quincy to
get the clerks certificat of release
of I. T. Pratt & D. H. Smith from
continuing my security any lo
nger as guardian for my son
John as he is now of age. The
sun shone out all day.
