oak wood 2 ft. long for the pri
nting office John halld &
Bales of hayto the preacher at
1 1/2$ per bale after supper I
churnd & did up the tricks in
good order
I pd 1 1/2$ for beef & John 1/2$
salaratus

Sat 12         quite cols last kt, I could
walk on the snow & scearcely
make a track on the snow as
we went out to cut wood, we
finisd cutting our 4 cords of
oak & John halld it by 1 p.m.
we got dinner after John
halld load wood & got 1$
made & bakd laf Bred clea
nd our room took out the ash
es allso the Kitchen, we are now
setting by a good oak fore in
the old stove & John playing
bed time I pd 1$ for 1/2 gal
coffee pot rather billous

Su 13          Beutifull warm day, after the
little work was done up I put on
a clean calico & walkd up town pre
aching every sunday here quite a
stir in town several citizens
over from Honey Vally.

Mo 14         not so cold as the Kt before &
verry warm sunny days pd
1₵ for beef I went up to betsy town
& pd. 14$ for crop cut say & file &
3$ for one handled came home & got
1/2 gl linseed oil at 1 1/2$ & 1 lb
ventian red 1/2$ all to be paid
John halld load hay for Maston at
3 1/2$ to be paid. I missed paint &
John painted one wheel.

Th 15          not so cold but clowdy &
clowdy this a.m. but warm & sun
ny most of the day. I & Somes cut
2 cords oak wood a.m. after John
Halld it to the Barber got 8$
