we traveld 17 miles & put up for
the night our ft badly Blisterd

We are resting at the oregon
house 7 1/2  miles.  This morn
ing our feet quite sore

We continued our tranp
until near night & took sup
er whitch cost us          $1 each 2.00
We then continued our walk some
time in the night in company
with a Virginian who had a horse
that carried our wallet & coats.  We
3 then spred down his Blankets un
der a pine tree & went to sleep.

Sun 19       Got up early Sunday morning
& packed up started on our way.  Stopd
& took Breckfast  each $1 — 2.00
We continued journey until 1 o.clk pm
put up for the day at strawberry
vally eat supper & lodging      1.25 each 2.50

Mo 20         Early in the morning we started for
Grass vally arrivd early in evening
the 4 day travel is calld 75 miles.
