Th a little  washed today & took out 24$
16th cold & cloudy all day  looked like rain or snow  still sluce washing  took out
Fr 16$  not as good as usual  snow melting a little in the sun
17th clear warm day  still washing  made 28$  worked very hard all day  cloudy in
Sat the evening looked like rain  nothing else today
18th a clear beautiful day  cleared off a place for the purpose of ground slucing
Su worked hard all day  cut a ditch through it in the evening  nothing else today
19th snowed a little all day  got wood in the morning  Gillingham came
over to the cabbin but did not stay long  I went to the point with a pick
in the evening & stopped a while at the new saw mill  Yank came up
Mo & staid all evening & half the night  nothing more
20th nothing interesting today  cloudy all day & looked like rain  found the
bank caved in & broke one box badly  ground sluced all day & got wet &
Tus cold  worked in water & blue mud up to my knees all day  no more
21st nothing new today  cloudy all day & snowed a little all day until
