ed Edwards get some poles down the
hill on the snow to put under the fl
oom. I took our nozzel up twon & got
the ring out of it & brought it down & put
it on the pipe no more to day

some time every thing frozing
last night went to the point
about noon & bought a pair of
boots & paid 4$ for them no w

more McDonald Lowes came
in today from Relers

very cold this morning I started for
Quincy after breakfast got there ab
out 12 oc & found Pa & a man by the
name of Chace making a hay press
cold all day nothing else to day
