found it snowing in the morning
we broke rocks all fore noon Pa st
arted for home after breakfast a whi
le it snowed all day steady ned &
I worked all night it also snowed
the whole night I got very cold nothing
else of importance a ned went up the
floom after dinner to see about the rest

broke rocks all day & put in boxes
& ned & I run until 2 oc in the
morning a large rock rolled on the
mouth of the boxes & we quit for
the night nothing more to day

worked to day as usual braking
rocks all day the water failed to
day in the floom nothing else

but clear in the after broke ro
cks to day all hands we found
our sluices all out of plum
from the hill sliding we fixed
them up again &c snow melt
ing fast nothing of importance to day

ter cabbages & potatoes a pleanty
all day we had to take out one of
our big sluices the hill sliding
so sweeton kyler & I put a
rop under the floom at one of the
high places in the evening
