Th deal about past events & times gone by  nothing new today
19th nothing of consequence transpired today  a good deal colder than usual  made
a road through the snow to get wood to burn  done no work otherwise today st
Fr aid in the cabbin all day & read  baked some pies &c &c
20th very cold today  everything froze up  we had to get up in the night to warm
could not sleep  Mc Donnald & Stirling came up today  Mc staid all n
Sat ight with us  we loaned them a sack of flower &c  nothing more today
21st snow still on the ground  not melting much  all of us went to the point
with Mc to grind our axe & bought a shirt for 3$  the coldest day that has
Su been this winter  feather river froze up under the bridge  nothing more today
22nd been this winter  feather river froze up under the bridge  nothing more today
Mo es  some of them being frozen  nothing new today
23rd nothing new today  warm & cloudy nearly all day  snowed also today
staid about the cabbin  all day & read novels  nothing new today
