19th rained a little in the morning but cleared off & was a fine day  cut wood nearly
Mon all day  went over to the diggings to turn the water out of the ravine &c &c
20th cloudy but warm & pleasant all day  ground sluiced some dirt that caved
in & cleared away some away some brush & also a large stump that fell in the ra
vine  got wet & cold  one year today since I landed at San Francis
Tus co nothing more of importance today
21st A pretty day  cool towards evening  ground sluced some mud away
Wed in the forenoon & washed in the evening  took out one ounce today
22nd another beautiful day  snow melting very fast  bank & mud caved
Thr in the ravine  getting logs & stumps out of the way  nothing more today
23rd went to the point in the morning for a saw & axe handle  sawed nea
r
ly all evening on some logs in the ravine  worked hard all evening & got
Fr wet & cold  seen the new saw mill going up on the branch
24th another fine day  clear & warm  still clearing away logs stumps &c
worked hard all day  got wet as usual  Pat Curley come to the diggi
