rocks ned & I laid by int eh eveni
ng a while to wash all night Miller
& family came in about noon to
look for us the big reservoir broken
down directly after we turned on the
water & we had to quit we all went
to the point after dinner & brought
down millers things we turned on
the water after dinner but there
was not enough to wash with noth
ing else of interest to day cold in
the morning, Mrs Edwards &
fox came to Hislingin the eveni
ng I talked a little with her &c

broke rocks par tof us while the rest
worked on the reservoir with sherw
in we finished it a bout noon & pip
ed all evening ned & I run all n
ight got very cold before day there

was a large rock fall on the end of
the boxes about dark laid there all
night nothing of consequence to day

I slept in the fore noon the day han
ds broke rocks piped in the evening
ned & I fixed some troughs to run
water in to the far corner of the cut
we run all night until about
4 oc & then went to bed

the evening to wash at night the com
pany broke rocks all day except a l
ittle while in the evening they run
off some rocks so as to put in a not
her box at the head ned sewed
on a piece of hose to lead the water
in the right place
