Frd tly towards the north  nothing more than usual
3rd nothing new today more than usual  commenced storming after breakf
ast & snowed all day  ground sluced off some top gravel in the morning
Sat & made about 6$  got wood after dinner  nothing more
4th cloudy all day but warmer than usual  sluce washed all day  took out 73$
Su nearly all coarse gold  nothing else today
5th clear & pretty in the forenoon but cloudy & warm in the afternoon  very
cold the night of the 4th  got wood in the forenoon  I commenced a latter h
ome  went to the point in the evening to grind a hatchet  stopped a wh
Mo ile at the new saw mill to examine it closely  no more today
6th cloudy & cold nearly all day  sluce washed all day & took out 37$  wr
Tus ote some in my letter after supper  nothing else new today
7th nothing particularly new today  worked hard all day washing &
Wed took out 12$  clear pretty day  Yank came up after supper
8th warm & pretty all day  worked hard all day & took out 47$  nothing else
