19th set the boxes & went to washing & only took out 6$ all fine gold
Sat Pa very bad about supper time in a great deal of pain no more today
20th clear & pretty in the forenoon but raised in the aftermoon but ce
Su ared off before night took out about 9$ Pa better today
21st 
A clear pretty day thundered a great deal for the last 3 days Shaw
Hopkins & myself went up the ditch in the forenoon & found it
broke in on or to places Shaw & Hopkins went to the point after
we came back Pa received a coupple of letters one from home
& one from Iowa heard that Dave was in Ytown staid at the
Mon cabbin all day & done washing
22nd went to the point in the morning for a —–nails &c to make some
new riffles with 3 of us worked on them Hawkins came back in
Tus the evening with new pipe nothing otherwise new today
23rd clear in the forenoon but thundered & hailed in the evening put the
riffles in the boxes in the morning done no work in the afternoon
